Brighton have been voted as the most interesting seaside resort in England in a new magazine survey.

The city in East Sussex is famous for its Pier, Pavilion and pebble beach, as well as its liberal attitude to life. Brighton weekends are popular with groups of lads, ladies, amorous couples and families as it has something that appeals to everybody.

While many seaside resorts suffer when the weather is not favourable, in Brighton there is so much to do that it is a popular destination all year round.

Keep your eye on Brighton news as there is always something going on and events taking places, such as the Brighton Festival, Gay Pride and the newly established Brighton Marathon.

A new website has been launched, which is set to make searching for cheap flights considerably easier.

Cheapflights have launched Zugu, which draws together multiple sources to display the cheapest flights leaving Britain in one handy table.

Given that it is reported that we make an average of 12 online searches and visit 22 websites over 29 days before booking a holiday, Zugu could save us all a lot of time,

It is the latest in 'meta-search' technology, which has revolutionised our approach to online booking, but it is the first to get to the grips with the logistics of booking the cheapest and most convenient flight.

Zugu searches live flight prices to bring back a list of the cheapest flights, in order. It excels itself by enabling you to search by departure and return flight times and flight duration, and you can filter out certain airlines or websites if you only want to book with certain ones.

This is a rather complicated system presented in a comfortable simple manner and is bound to be a success for this reason.

A study by the Post Office has uncovered that the cheapest holiday destination is Hungary, with Thailand and Bulgaria hot on its tail.

The survey saw the cost of a typical basket of goods compared across destinations from all over the world. The goods included were a bottle of beer, a cup of coffee, a postcard, a meal out and some sun lotion.

Hungary was named as the cheapest for the second year running with its basket of goods coming it at under £40. Thailand and Bulgaria were also just under the £40 mark, while Spain was the cheapest Eurozone nation at £44.84.

To compare with the more expensive nations, France came in at £71.12, while Jamaica's bill would be £79.74 and in Brazil the eight items would cost an eye-watering £101.81.

This analysis saw the cost of goods converted into how much it would cost in Sterling.

The famous city of York is not renowned for being a wild party location, far from it, yet this historic location lures is large numbers of stag parties each weekend.

York has been significant since Roman times and of course New York is named after this city, but what makes it so popular for stags looking to celebrate a final weekend of freedom?

It has a vibrant student population, but unlike other student cities the nightlife isn’t awash with cheesy and cheap nightclubs, although there are still some fantastic venues, including the humorously named Toffs.

The nightlife is spread across the city, but the Old Quarter hosts a number of great pubs and bars, which are great for a stag night bar crawl. Soak up some history with your beer at Ye Olde Starre Inn, which has been serving drinks to the locals for over 350 years. You’ll certainly not be short on choice as you make your way around York, which claims to provide the options of a different pub a day for a year. See how many you can tick off over the weekend?

York also boasts an amazing array of daytime activities to keep stag groups amused, from paintballing and clay pigeon shooting, to quad biking and off-road driving.
